Principal's message 3-5-10
Science expo last night was an overwhelming success. Thanks so much to the committees who worked so hard on it and to Ms. Christman for her leadership. The students did a fantastic job and should feel very proud of themselves. I learned that there are five types of volcanos, how many pounds each dog in Brookhaven weighs, how to make artificial snow, how to make a clock out of fruit, and many, many more interesting things! What a great success!
There are a couple of notable events for this week. On Wednesday, we have early release. Students will dismiss at 1:15 so that our staff may engage in staff development activities. On Thursday, several of our students will be participating in First in Fitness and at 2:00 on Thursday, the school will be treated to an Opera Carolina performance, thanks to our Cultural Arts committee and the PTA.
